Purpose
They are most often installed between PV and C, providing the necessary filling and emptying times of C.
In certain cases, they are also used to change the C pressure without changing the PV outlet pressure.
They are also often called pressure transducers.
Examples of their use:
- At PV KE1;
- In the case of locomotives, etc.
Types of relay – valves
- single-level – realize only one value of the maximum pressure in C;
- two-stage – realize two stages of the maximum pressure in C;
- three-level;
- adjustable.
